Getting ready to build a new PC based on Asus P4P800 deluxe MB.
Have all components except video card. Know ATI line 9800, 9600 are hot right now but the 9600 Pro is $173 at Newegg.

Seems like alot for just trading. Ok for gaming.
Any ideas or suggestions on which cards?
Will need an agp and a pci.

    Thx.

Do you need a card for gaming as well ?
If not, you can take an Appian Rushmore (www.appian.com)

It's a single PCI Quad card (4 monitors) with 64 MB DDR mem.
I have a spare one I'm selling, PM me if interested.

Other options : Matrox G200 MMS / Matrox Parhellia

Or you can work with multiple cards, but watch out for the drivers not to cause any conflicts.

For trading, I use 4 single, Rage 128 Pro ATI cards (16mg each) on P4, Win2K.
    Advantages:
    1. Cheap... <$100 for all 4... and if a card goes bad, you only lose one monitor... easily replaced.
    2. Less heat/noise... the cards have no fans.

This is my 2nd rig with such a setup. My first worked so well, hard to find a reason to change.
