new option cancel fees for IB

How many cancels? That seems astronomical for one day>

 

as I was not fully aware of the increased cancel fees

( my mistake )

I am waiting for a breakdown of my fees of this day from IB

so I can learn from this experience

 

I'm not 100% positive about it, but it seems like you can just add the cancel fees into your cost basis for trades on that day. If you file a Schedule C as a trader, you can just put the cancel fees as a business expense.
