“The thermosphere lit up like a Christmas tree,” says Russell. “It began to glow intensely at infrared wavelengths as the thermostat effect kicked in.”
For the three day period, March 8th through 10th, the thermosphere absorbed 26 billion kWh of energy. Infrared radiation from CO2 and NO, the two most efficient coolants in the thermosphere, re-radiated 95% of that total back into space.

Only a complete idiot would proffer this article to make such a statement as did Jem. The NASA study does not describe co2 as a global cooling gas. It states that in the Thermosphere, which is 60 to 360 miles above the earth CO2 acts to repel certain energetic particles. CO2 in the atmosphere acting as an insulator of heat emissions from the earth is not challenged in the NASA study, which was published a year ago and not picked up by the jerkoff anti science troglodytes until last week.

If you can't even accept their own words then you are lost. One more than offsets the other (even if you could find proof to substantiate the claim of the latter.):

“Carbon dioxide and nitric oxide are natural thermostats,” explains James Russell of Hampton University, SABER’s principal investigator. “When the upper atmosphere (or ‘thermosphere’) heats up, these molecules try as hard as they can to shed that heat back into space.”

...would threaten to fly to ATL on an airline flight that doesn't even go to ATL. Remember that one, Dr Dickless?

I love the way these leftist keep themselves ignorant of the arguments being made about the science.

Here are the arguments being made..

    1. CO2 is a powerful coolant in the Thermosphere...
    2. In the troposhere the Greenhouse effect maybe keeping some heat in... but the very large majority of the work is being done by water vapor..
    3. When you add co2... as you add more it becomes logarithmically less effective.

    4. Therefore if co2 is added is the net effect cooling or warming.

    5. and since co2 warming is such a small impact... could man made co2's impact even be measured? and if so is it net warming or cooling.

What I do know is that there is no science showing man made CO2 is causing net warming in the earth's atmosphere.

I know this because you leftist distorters of science never produce any links... and if a scientist were to produce such science he would be made world famous by the leftist media.
