New LLC -- good bank for small business?

Discussion in 'Educational Resources' started by SideShowBob, Mar 7, 2006.

  1. I just started an LLC for trading, can anyone recommend a good bank (e.g. Chase, Citibank, BankofAmerica) for small business? I would like to open a checking account to use for paying LLC expenses such as data fees, advisory fees, etc.

Though I don't have a specific recommendation, maybe check out bankrate.com?

I would check out Wachovia if they are available in your area. I have several accounts with them including 3 LLC's. They have no minimum for the first year on there basic business checking account and they give you a credit for free checks. I believe after 1 yr the minimum is only $1000. Great serice and good products.

    Good luck,

  4. i endorse american express for establishing credit for your LLC.

anybody ever looked into small business loans before, such as for office space, employees, and perhaps a little towards trading capital? (already have capital and all that, but money is cheap these days and would like to take advantage).
