Now that we're "on the roll" getting fixes let me also mention a -trivial- UI issue with TWS workspace management: File -> Manage workspaces -> import opens the child-window named "Open" (to select the workspace to import) HIDDEN UNDER the current active "Manage workspaces" window. So, in order to proceed with importing a workspace, the user has to click the corner and drag the semi-hidden window elsewhere on his desktop (trivial for most of us, but a nuisance) This is going on for months (over 4 months) of recent TWS versions.
TWS Build 849 is scheduled to be promoted from beta to production for browser users tomorrow (8/10). If anyone is aware of any problems with this build that have not been fixed yet, please let me know. Thanks.
Last I checked: One-day one-minute line charts do not auto-update tick by tick as do the one-minute bar charts. Can this be implemented?
Here we go again. Please, slow down the bloat. Better yet lose it. Thank you for your consideration, ktm'r
IBsoft, I am currently using build 843 and I am happy with it. Since I don't need charting or other new bells and whistles of TWS, I am planning to keep using this build as long as I can. My worry is how long can this build be used. Is there somewhere on your web site showing the earliest build that is still 100% usable as of today? I couldn't find this info myself. Thanks.
Basically, I agree with your point. But, in case it hasn't sunk in yet, IB is apparently insistent on providing charting. Since this is the case, shouldn't we have charts that are reasonably useable?
Could you come up with a IB lite with no charting market depth etc. Just order entry? I can't believe anyone uses these butt ugly charts. You can get better stuff off the internet with Yahoo etc. You just wasting resources that could be used to make the order entry part more reliable.
