%% SINCE it's new,DELL, call DELL. I never could make 225% work[readable in a practical way]with any number of monitors, so maybe it never works with 8 /LOL.Call DELL, since it's new.
Looks like Microsoft solved the Rapid Hot Plug Detect (RHPD) issue in Windows 11: https://www.digitaltrends.com/computing/windows-11-will-finally-resolve-multi-monitor-issue/
I have 3 x 24" monitors 3' away (100% scaling). Further back is better but it depends on your eyesight. These days I wear mild (1.0) reading glasses. Just because your computer is new doesn't mean the software and drivers are up to date. With a new built my second step (after installing Windows) check for updates. You need to do this several times until is says "nothing to update". There will be a few reboots. Have an alternate activity while Windows thrashes around. There may be millions of computers requesting updates at any given time so some days are slower than others.
It did not. most likely, big corporations are not using Microsoft products + multiple monitors + Display ports. That's why this problem has been there for years.
What is the text size you are using if it is Win-11 ? I tried scaling but it just enlarges everything on a monitor including any photos or image & does not help with clipped fonts shown in my post.
I'm using Windows 10. With my laptop (14", 1920x1080) it defaulted to 150% scaling. No issues but I want max information so I set the scaling to 100%. The text is tiny but very readable (with reading glasses). With my desktop if I set the scaling to 150% some apps (like Explorer and Thunderbird) rescale immediately. Other apps (lie Firefox) don't. Normally I use the [recommended] 100%.
Try reducing the resolution to something more reasonable, like 1280x1024 or 1600x900 if you're into widescreen format.
