Dell is not "always overpriced" (at least not for US buyers) .... some HELLACIOUS deals to be had if you know the price of hardware... and Dell is USUALLY well priced on base units.
Tbh, you could could that bill by at least half by building it yourself with the same features. If your not that good with technology then theres plenty of tutorials around. Nevertheless, if your currently making lots of money trading and your time is worth a lot then fork out the extra cash.
It does seem that over in Europe (and other countries as well) computer things are sold at quite a bit higher price. More than the costs of transportation alone. Maybe it's the cost of doing business over there? Import taxes/controls? Can one buy over the Internet and ship international? (I just know that when I shopped for my HP laptop online - HP's shopping site - the unit was built in Malaysia and then shipped to the USA.)
my comment was targeted towards the experience of a 'euro' buyer...that being said I just found better value and performance elsewhere.
