That was a lot of misdirection to hide your admission that you were lying about the breakthrough infection rate.

    a. I did not claim the KF was not a large data base. The KF database is simply not capable of providing us with an accurate breakthrough infection rate. You were ignorantly relying upon it to make a false claim about breakthrough infection rates.

    b. I did not ignore undetected infections.
Why would you lie about part of my argument?
I wrote, "Potentially millions of people had breakthrough infections who were never tested."

Any full studies on people who already had covid?

Plenty of studies on Long Covid.

As well as many on re-infections.

    Whatever Jem.

Welcome back. Enjoy pushing your Covid-denier bullshiat. We are tired of this nonsense at this point.

BTW -- the CDC and KFF database information is the largest publicly available database on Covid vaccinated breakthrough cases on the face of the planet in terms of the number of people covered.

    Isn't re-infection rate around 1%?

With earlier variants the proven case re-infection rate appears to be about 1% from the information I have seen in studies. Note this rate is still higher than the rate of those getting infected with breakthrough cases after getting vaccinated. Also noting that those with a mild first infection tended to have a higher re-infection rate than those who had a severe first infection.

With Omicron we do not know what the re-infection rate is - however doctors in South Africa are stating it is higher.

    Keep us updated.

I still have yet to personally know of anyone who has gotten it twice

There will be more studies of Covid reinfections but most of them will be out of South Africa or Africa or other countries studying the data from that country.

    https://www.cnn.com/2021/12/03/health/omicron-south-africa-reinfection-study/index.html

I'm confident that Omicron will be the most studied Variant of Concern than any prior mutation because it has the ability to reinfect those that had prior Covid infection of another variant mutation and cause breakthrough infection of those that have waning vaccine immunity.

The latter mainly mild symptoms...its actually a good thing. Unfortunately, hospitalization is still rising via those not vaccinated.

    Unsubstantiated lies.

The data and studies from all over the world show that natural immunity is far superior to fully vaccinated immunity as can be seen in our best data set from Israel in which natural immunity was 7 to 13 times better.

However there may be a time where natural immunity plus one shot provides the best protection for a few months.

If you are going to cite the CDC study understand that was a misleading data set of hospitalized people during a time period when post vaccination antibodies would be the highest.

Just about every other study in the world has shown natural immunity to be far superior.
