You can make that chart look any way you want by adjusting the vertical axis. In reality, Canada's numbers are promising it's a fairly controlled second wave compared to most of the world, and we never had the months of heightened infections and death toll that several US states had. If it doesn't look "promising" to you, you aren't honestly trying to understand any of this. To give some perspective, Ontario a province with 15 million people the majority of which live in urban centers has had 650-1050 infections a day for 2 weeks. North Dakota, a state of 762,000 people which I presume has less of an urban density, had 1200 infections and 11 deaths reported today.
