+ 100 right back at ya. exactly what came to mind when i first heard this story of Woods and Doherty.. i couldn't remember their names but i learned of them from Black Hawk Down haha. I had to look into it at the time because i couldn't believe it was true. Absolutely no fear or regard for their own lives.
Agreed. But it's needs to be fueled by the media. And real Americans need to understand that these people DO defend the freedoms we exercise on a daily basis, and they deserve to be treated with respect and not like fucking disposable assets. Whoever made the decision, whether its Panetta, obama, or even Petraeus, needs to be shitcanned.. for starters. And if obama was aware in real time and deferred to someone else, he should be fucking impeached. It shouldn't even have been a decision, but an automatic response.
If this story is to rise out of the ashes before next Tuesday, there's only one guy can do that. Romney! I'd like to see him starting hitting Obama hard, really hard on this story come Sunday, and just keep punching. Otherwise, it's a non-issue until after the election. If Romney wins without pushing this, well then, smarter people than me made the right decision. If he loses, he'll wish he would have.
What gets me about liberals is they way they express disdain for people who serve in the military while at the same time being oblivious to the fact that the same military people they hold in contempt are the ones who have made it possible for them to have safe and secure lives. I'm still steaming about Ted Turner saying that it was *good* that the Army is experiencing high rates of suicide. The media has become a tool of the left and the last week or two I've noticed that CNN is just openly campaigning for Obama. They don't even attempt to appear objective now.
Story is just too big to contain. CBS, hardly a conservative network runs a story showing just how poorly this was handled as it was happening. CBS News has learned that during the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. Mission in Benghazi, the Obama Administration did not convene its top interagency counterterrorism resource: the Counterterrorism Security Group, (CSG). "The CSG is the one group that's supposed to know what resources every agency has. They know of multiple options and have the ability to coordinate counterterrorism assets across all the agencies," a high-ranking government official told CBS News. "They were not allowed to do their job. They were not called upon." http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-250_162...te-attack/?tag=cbsnewsHardNewsFDArea;fdmodule
My wife made me watch CNN for a while this evening. I was shocked to see them report that regarding Benghazi nobody was told to stand down and nobody under attack requested reinforcements. I couldn't believe my ears. They chalked up the stories to the contrary to the political season. It's just incredible that they would report such nonsense.
CBS also just posted a story about a new document that has been discovered: http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-202_162...benghazi-attack/?tag=scrollShell;housing-Home
History repeats.... "Tammany depended for its power on government contracts, jobs, patronage, corruption, and ultimately the ability of its leaders to swing the popular vote. " "Tammany Hall, also known as the Society of St. Tammany, the Sons of St. Tammany, or the Columbian Order, was a New York City political organization founded in 1786 and incorporated on May 12, 1789 as the Tammany Society." "William M. Tweed, known as "Boss" Tweed, ran an efficient and corrupt political machine based on patronage and graft." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tammany_Hall ----------------------------- Obama's chicago machine at the Fed could go on for quite some time if sumbody does nothing.
