Made a typo on that Nasdaq quote above. It sould be short above 2314. I was looking at the 5 min. chart but the movement will also terminate the 30 min. which has a slightly higher high. fx
Amazing. I knew it was coming today and I still LOST money! That takes talent... Well, for what it's worth, here are the more accurate counts... first the Dow...
Thought I'd include this... FYI. fx Hi ..., You recent PM encouraged me to go back to the charts I posted and verify my error... There are actually 3 differences between the original posting (elite16.gif) and the latter posting (elite18.gif), but only one of them was critical. If you look at elite18.gif and compare you'll see that the two events between magenta 2 and 3 and magenta 4 and green 1 were not counted. This is not critical as it would simply add 4 points to the original 18 point count making it a 22 point count - the terminal points would not be affected at all. However, there was another event that I missed, the event between gray 1 and 2 was left uncounted. This was a critical error because it had the effect of pulling the terminal points backward, making the effective terminal window anything above appr. 10929 (the ultimate high was 10968). As you likely know counting price can be a delicate art. Attention to detail is a required skill. The nice thing about the methods I promote is that, if the count is wrong, as was the case here, it usually results in getting left out of a trade rather than getting into a losing trade. I'm sure you'd agree, I rather be left on the sidelines than lose money... In hindsight the error was unfortunate, especially with so many people watching, but it was a technicality and the vigorous drop that ensued should have impressed upon the mind of many of those watching that there is something to these sequences. Apparently it didn't have that effect... Oh well. Their loss, not mine. Hope this brings the method into a bit sharper focus for you. Regards, ...
