New AMP account - fund with GBP or USD?

    Because I am in the UK so use GBP for everything. It might make it easier to keep everything in my own currency.

    Probably. In that case it would just be simpler, worth paying the spread if you're negative. I guess you still have some currency risk, which could work to your advantage.

    I funded my AMP account with a wire transfer for 150.00 USD, but only 125.00 USD shows in that account. Trying to find out the why ?

    Even though it is an GBP account – the final account is in the US and requires an international payment, at times there is an intermediary bank used that is charging 25.00. This is why what is finally received at AMP is 25.00 less than what our customers originally send.
