I have a toaster for onsite backup. I opened some files directly from the toaster. That was Word over USB.. it seemed to be what destroyed the files, I can't think of anything else I did at the time. I rebuilt the computer and restored the files to the normal directory. When I opened them they were empty but their properties showed that they were several kbs... good old XP and Windows in general, it's a fricking mine field.... Anybody have that experience?
