NETFLIX: Short Sell

  1. I wouldn't short long term but I wouldn't long either. Day trading this market is easier than picking a direction.

  2. You either have a positive expectancy setup in NFLX or you dont, if you do, by all means, take a shot at it, otherwise, leave the gambling for Vegas.

  4. No pain no gain, as the say :D. If you can afford the risk, why not? Just be careful, don't put a lot of money in risky trades.

  5. Up 8% on DB; Down 2.5% on NFLX. 5% of portfolio on those two stocks.

Why do you want to buy weak stocks and sell strong stocks?
If you want to win regularly, do the opposite. Buy strong stocks during pullbacks and sell weak stocks when they rebound.
Right now, DB is a nice short @12.5/13, and NFLX is a hold @120/122.
5 months ago, everyone wanted to short NFLX and I wrote it was a STRONG BUY if it stayed above 80 dollars . At the same time, people wanted to buy weak VALEANT @25/30 because it was oversold. Lol. Like DB today. "oversold".

  9. DB trades very actively in the US and is >$14 right now. I'd be careful about throwing stones at "noobs"...

I wrote my post this morning here, and as far as I know, US markets were closed???? So it was obvious DB currency was in EURO, not in dollars. Give me a break, seriously.
