This is a tremendous risk, I think you're starting to feel that now, when the price is starting to go up again.
Stock closed today below my sell price and headed lower in after hours. Risky trade? Absolutely. I can't deny this and only time will tell if its a good trade. I also went long on deutsche bank several days ago at $12.79. I have a few very speculative trades like this.
Given my comment about DB, this is kind of funny: Deutsche Bank initiated coverage on Netflix’s stock with a sell rating and $90 price target, saying the stock has an unattractive risk/reward profile over “a very long” time horizon. http://www.marketwatch.com/story/is...-narcos-coke-kingpin-2016-10-18?siteid=yhoof2
I have established an approximate average price of $95 for 2016. That is my "take-n". I don't have an explicit stop, however trades like this have a mental stop at 20% loss.
95 is less far-fetched than you might think given that the stock price ranged between 90 and 100 for most of 2016.
If you're going to short this stock at least use proper risk management. Don't go all in at 119. Scale in every $20. Because odds are you're going to be underwater unless there's a major market sell off soon.
