We've received a few other complaints about Yahoo group
    in other channels.

I guess from developer's point of view, we read every post
(thru email) and do not realise how bad Yahoo group is
for users (especially new users) who want to gather info
as quickly as possible. Our mistake.

I will set aside some time to investigate the possibility of
a new place for NeoTicker forum. Wish I can do it as good
as elitetrader, which is simply as good as forum gets.

Why not just have a Neoticker thread on EliteTrader. Direct all users to it rather than yahoo. Offer more help with scripting & system design. You've got a great product, but the average trader(programming challenged) might be over-whelmed by it's complexity.

It's to much of a hassle to click on each post to read a couple words & the email option is even worse. With EliteTrader, you read several posts at once; or click on print and read the entire thread.

I will take note of what is good in EliteTrader as
requirements. But as hosting our company's official
support forum in EliteTrader, I have some reservations.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

We got TickQuest forums up for NeoTicker support questions.

Easier than I previously thought :D. Technology sure has
advanced a lot since we last evaluate.

  6. Of course, this is a bit too late, but what I'd suggest is to keep the yahoo group exactly as it is, and somehow mirror the posts somewhere else on Tickquest's site to provide a better search ability, downloadability, etc...

    Just an idea.

  7. I've only used NeoTicker for a while but i think it's excellent so far. Previously i used QCharts but the data reliability became a problem. I wanted a great charting / analysis package with a solid
datafeed and the NeoTicker/eSignal combo. worked out great.

The initial learning curve for NeoTicker is fairly steep but worth the effort. It's a complex pacakge, but with that complexity comes power with a little effort. I find the charting better than the eSignal package charting also.
