I have been reading a lot about mandatory broker commission rates and how expensive they factor in the total loss of a traders net gain. I inquired with Cybertrader.com about the 0.005 per share charge above 5000 and what I could do to reduce this rate. The salesman politely told me that if I traded so many shares per month I could speak to a manager and have the rate reduced to 0.0025. He also confirmed my request to put it in writing. How many here even bothered to ask about pre-negotiation with your brokers? Regards, bentnose
