Just paste it in a search box but free only gets first 5 stocks. high 30 day high minus low 30 day low < 1.10 add column high 30 day high minus low 30 day low{30rng} Friday had 3860 stocks with this condition. just add the following to above scan: close above 5 avg vol(10)above 100000 and pare it down to 53. Click on 30rng to sort and NBIX had largest range of 1.09/30 days and BIL had lowest with .11/30 days Stockfetcher is great. Other programs like TC2000, Amibroker, etc work just as well.
I took a look at Ninja Trader and concluded that it is not suitable for screening thousands of stocks. The Market Analyzer starts off by by loading all the stocks and then you narrow them down from there. It just isn't designed for analyzing a huge number of instruments. It also does not download the stock-related data that you would normally want in a stock screener.
Very true. I have my universe of stocks on my watch list so I do not load thousands of stocks. I screen for technicals during the day, so it works for me.
