Junped on the break up got the literally top price before it reverse 27000 bang on -13 here SL at new lows 77 might get another 100pt run up, crazy ass day anything possible.
Bailed for -9 still a STUPID Trade LOL -13 on the day, nickel and dimed a bit $26 on Comms for 13trades approx not helping either. Covered 1/2 my spread!!
Method tweak!!! Surprise Surprise. Lessons learnt and all that. BB 8sma 2.2Dev Envelope 8sma 0.01 and 0.03 Another loser, long before the 30pt run down, typical -7 Lazer focus on 8's direction and join in the 0.01 range or via BB at times.
Turned into a TWAT tired / stupid whatever. 2 trades -10 and -20. I went short on the break down which reversed then long on the fast break out, which reversed and held it wayyy to long obvs. Method has no understanding of chop LOL around we go again. I like the Envelope 6sma 0.01 and a 6sma, handy and reliable. A 16sma + BB 16sma 2.0Dev is calling market range perfectly in a back curve fitting kinda way. I should of joined short @26978, joining 6 down with a SL outside the upper BB 6pts away. Then watch for Range to come into effect lower BB, then on breaking that and the BB lower heading down fast, then that's a break down and hold on tight. Learning and only cost me $30 to do so today, rock on!!
Okay todays close kinda ruined a good week, back to BE but learning and growing. What have I learnt!!! Well a Envelope 6sma 0.01 is pretty damn good with YM BB 16 2.0 stronger and needs to respect the range, last 2 trades break outs but BB range capped both in the ass. Don't over trade, towards the end, just clicking mouses and if any trend at all left, then hold, closed 1 trade for +33, could of been +65 area, 1 other +10 went +40 those big moves cover up a lot of losing trades quickly. Back hitting it hard Monday till, need to do stat work, if market does X what's the odds, take or ignore via this setup over the weekend, fun fun fun!!
Review of yesterday know I'm more awake.... Start 2 trades, Text Book!!! Then few small losers fine. 2 Biggish losers, new method they where counter trend, tiny profit that was on trend should of held for huge payout. I need a understanding here of longer trend. Envelope 30sma 0.01 works and almost makes the BB obselete. Nice big winner, should of held longer. Loser, bought break out, starting living in hope as tired and lost interest to be honest, break out failed to continue should of exited for smaller loss. Loser, joined the 6 uptrend, 30 capped it perfectly so might of prevented. nice profit, broke over the 30, nice entry on break above 6 range, should of held for 15 more. Loser, BB called chop trend and 30 was saying long I joined the 6 short side, stupid brain dead trade, not thinking. And final -20 bought the up break which ran into BB ( wasn't there then ) and reversed as it often does, bored let HOPE take over. Okay, repeat Monday, lessons learned, got to slow it down abit, treating too much like a game, no mid session method changes although I like what it evolved to. Progressing, but still a ways to go before I'm 90%+
Testing...... Method is decided, just time to perfect live ie small losses at $1 expected. Bb 16sma 2.0 works great, in a dont do long at the top BB unless defo broken out kinda way. The 16sma which comes with BB is worthless and blacked it out, no relevance seen. 12sma plays well with 6s added that back bb better at 16, 12s a good slower trend. 30sma works great but then doesnt 50/50 not good enough leave off. Mostly its keeping losses small, not getting into cant take another loser dig in and let it squish me. Enter, if doubt Exit, small losses, big profits simples. Dont trade when i cant be arsed.
Long day, but quick bit of theory before sleep, got to ride my bike first time in 7weeks, LIFE!!! Correct Etiquette to join the 6sma's or time a 6sma based turn Last 2 trade setups on US30 just..... 1. Move up, then sideways BB closed in on then a break down, pull back short entry optimal on the 6sma, ran 10pts. 2. Wasn't sure what to do, short called near 12sma, ran against 3pts then turned back down +10 so far, tricky as 6 turned up Hang on a BB 12 1.1 called the entry with trend perfectly, back testing to check not curve fit 1 off.
