Ohhh. BB 22sma 1.9 plays nicely with my method, since going choppy, its had 8 setups only 1 of which failed. Will keep watching!

Your not going to believe this but i just redesigned my method totally. Direction part..... 13sma Envelope 13 0.06 Range part...... BB 22 2.0 Issues where, ranges getting huge and SLs, keeping me in too long for trend changes. Its just cleaner easier to see trend times and chop, which is key. And BB self calculates based on volatility. Likely change tomorrow when awake lol
New method, much cleaner much nicer, looks like settling on....... Envelope 13sma 0.05% BB 13sma 3.0 Dev Direction and normal range from the envelope, via some kind of trend. And Range allowing for volatility, impressive reversal rate or when tight breakout direction caller.
Loving new method, looks to solve a few of the issues, no need for massive range to give bad trades time to turn

Pull back uptrend in, 30 supporting Long 11374 SL 65 - missed exit - exit 92 had a 2nd chance +18 Major selling, close top of 0.14 range called it Failed to join Went 100, didn't have the balls to paper trade get in LOL Short 11191 - SL 11302 - Exit 74 +17 Going up L 11279 - SL 66 - Exit 11300 +21 Long risky 11276 - SL 11264 - exit BE Flip Short 11278 - SL 90 - Exit 43 +35 Saw 30 damn it Up Strong Long 11266 - SL 11255 - Exit 11300 +34 This is better, play fixed range wisely with direction, 12sma to 0.07 for trend entry, out to 0.14 for range entry, don't fight the 24's direction.
Time to sort out entry rules and SL positions depending on trade type and rules. 1. Only take trades with 24's direction, not perfect but improved odds and reduces the odds on being on the wrong side of a 100pt instant move. 2. SL tricky, don't want to much at risk, so if I enter trade at the 12sma, then SL just past the 0.07% and near that, just past the 0.14, but additionally, as soon as the market moves my way, if it comes back it'll likely be a turn, so tighten SL to just below prev low. Very few places on the chart, where that would be a bad SL exit. 3 Entry Size, Chop entries sideways markets 1 position only, Trend Entries moderately+ strong, I'm going to allow averaging down, same SL so 1/2 the risk on the 2nd position. low odds on getting a huge move counter trend, a SL breaker hence prepared to take the risk, a break from Chop = fast move and not getting out well. Sadly work I guess tomorrow but will fit some trades around and aim to get back kicking ass!!
