Cracking action today, ofcourse as I'm not trading don't want to blow the account and ruin my holiday :) although likely trade by the pool, the nice relaxed atmosphere helps I find.

Off to see the Blondie, quick gym and a fondle in the back of the car planned on the way home, yep after money I bet, but good look to her finding any at the moment :)

About +$300 on the week, not worked it out or 7% area :)

I think I've FINALLY found my dream method and finally getting the trust to use it, rather than just trying to reverse every move counter trend and stupidly.

Which is what the real issue is, unless i open chart and a setup is there that second i wont wait for perfect, what i will do 2mins later is get bored and pick a top or bottom counter trend then try to average my way out of it, to run away with a few pts after being down 20.

I'm still not using this right most of the time, but I'm starting to, and enough trades that not too long a wait for a valid setup before trading bored and stupid kicks in.

Previous winning streak, i had to force myself thinking it would become 2nd nature, first bad day, ran out of will to force only good setups and lost it, BE since pretty much.

Trading on a beach, works looking well I ran out after 2 hours in the office today, so that will have to do, doesnt look good for next week lol

Will I still be able to trade well next week, or lost it again ? Find out next week :)

Non-USA markets doesn't test out well to go counter-trend for me. Whereas USA, many will do counter-trend much more so. If you don't have that volume to push it, it won't go. Just much better for me to go with the flow for Eurex.

Question: If you get to making huge money, does it make sense to then change what you are doing? Long ago I made very good method for long term trading, for a good 18 years I did not make one change to the method and it rang up very consistent profits. Then I have had more time on my hands and started to add more signals, then switched to much longer term length of trade, but as far as original signal, that has never changed, the whole idea of the system was to trade it and disregard trend, this is my 25th year of trading it, the blunt of what I have made is due to this system, it is strictly Counter-trend when I enter, all trades are counter-trend.

I have found many who make quick huge profits seldom keep them very long, they start changing them in some ways, they change them so much, they don't remember what the original way of trading was. This is a fact of life, if you take trading as a Business, you have to maintain it as a Business, when you get it to it is making consistent funds rolling in, that is when it gets boring and boring is good as you have accepted what market will give you, just don't change it. Then start designing other systems that are different, before you know it you designing other systems for totally different instruments, longer timeframes and get them automated.

After all these years of hardship and possibly more to go, 1 good week does not make a profitable trader sadly, the plan won't be too change anything other than position size which will increase with the account.

Not a fan of automation really, sound great but in reality.

I made 200 in 2 hours of trading wobble watching tv its not that much hard work, get better increase size, should be able to make 1k area

I think you are much closer to being consistent than you might think.

Although I really really hope so and approve of your confidence in me, i fear / expect slipping back to old ways counter trending out of botedom.

Likely bad time to take a holiday, but will trade there to not lose plot homefully.

I have always taken "holidays" 3-4 day weekends than full blown out vacations, I be too antsy after being away more than 4 days. I am not very good at turning off business mode. It was 1999 when I "retired" from doing something that was a real dull job, but without that, I'd never have all the day time hours to learn trading, I worked nights 6-7 per week 10-12 hours a day at the end, go to work sick-they rather have me there working alone as I usually had then be home, a real slave to gov't. But 1999, bought a RV bus, after a month was bored, I must have came up with 20 ideas of businesses during that month. Driving by oneself is lonesome, worse than trading, LOL.
