New tighter SL plan in effect, no more account risking stupid trades, MAX amount of positions open are 2, SL MAX 15, max loss 25pips with 2nd position. Yes I'll take more losses, but hopefully not enough for the death by a 1000nd cuts cause method is pretty strong. Mainly be playing the 26sma ranges, with trend if there is trend, if not trend then SL can be extended out to a 100ema based range. The tricky part............. A lot of the time, it'll be a spike down to the range, which reverses quickly, if I'm too quick I risk catching a falling knife, if I'm too slow the I risk missing the trade. Target, most trades with trend, should go out of the other side of the Range, so that's the exit target to a lower low if short, but they shouldn't break upward, if they do that's a clear sign of buying strength and trend turning, hence tight SL. EASY!!!!! If anyone is ready, this works best on DAX, YM and SPX are useable though if needs be, tighten the envelope ranges a tad though.
Interesting am.... Went long closed at +11 just before it shot up typical, placed a short saw a +20 pips in my PL wtf, thinking i was trading some huge lot size, close, checked account earlier trade was still on and so was new trade, closed them both from there, which worked but left trades on the chart lol +23 +1, good start to the week, 2nd trade went 10 but just wanted out. Switch to Android device and stop any updates till they update ipad software.
Method is working great, wussed a long that went 20 doh! Hesitant to trade with TradeIntercptor issues and havent got out of bed yet lol. 2pm eeeeckkkkksss thats bad, but thats why i opad trade If this hadnt of spooked me id be +60 area already today, progress! Prove i can trade this way, up lot size, might be rich by xmas
DAX Long 9171, feeling confident, Lot size up 25% SL under first 100 range, 9160, will consider 2nd position near 9166 area. I've wussed so many good trades today, think TI ballsing it up gave me too much of a heart attack. Don't think they understand what the issue is/was so they'll be getting a lot of support calls and returning a lot of closed profits, which went negative over the day no doubt doh!!
Didn't realise, I was trading so late in the day, far to much slacking, dead and 2 pip spread 2nd position at 68, 9180 would make me happy at this stage, not in soft exit mode yet, selling pressure on all markets is easing so holding tight!!
Out +4 +8 that'll do me, too SLOW and BORING!!! +36 on the day, yeahhhhh me and didn't break any rules, or get put into a position to break any rules and with the extra 25% onto that trade, that's a nice chunk of change
Hey my 80 target, but when it's this slow, why risk it. Fingers crossed I'll have 10K taken out tomorrow 20K+ end of September, then I can / need to start taking a wage. Today was too easy, not 1 surprise break out on the chart, so hard to say if my issue is fixed, but confident I can keep the gambling beast away
Middle SMA / EMA removed and it's much much much easier to use the 26, less clutter, could easily see 26 coming down short near the first Env and 20pips right there ( didn't trade it ). Nearly makes the 100 reduntant but it's nice to see the over all trend, it was up earlier and nice to have a secondary SL / fall back position. The +25% with 1 trade in, is a shock to the system, so doubling it would likely cause me to melt down, so increase 25% every reasonible profitable week, which based on 100pips per week makes me.... Reducing to 15% per week based on 100pips, if I do 200pips I'll go 30%, 100pips gets me mid 25K end of September, WOWSA's!!
-15 on the first trade, hit SL perfectly again before reversing LOL Shorted +3 and +11 so -1 on the day, exited WAY too soon, could of gotten +20 +30 area easy IF I could hold longer / trade a tad smarter I'd be making ludicrous amounts of money, which is a normally poor, barely surviving month to month kinda guy is kinda worrying.
I'm having a bad day, DAX little trade, inner range, got support, less than 5 seconds after getting in, huge break down, got me into stupid average down mode again, just can't catch a break, no other market broke down, DAX is well crazy these days little sucker. All my trades I spot but don't take work out, BAD WEEK!!!
