can you explain the filtering in a short bullet point list?
can you explain the additional confluences (what ever that is)?

If you can explain these with 10% of the words you use in a post maybe someone will help. terse>verbose

  2. I totally understand that, but I have everything done. I just need it to say "x + y" or sometimes even just "x" happened on this time frame and than send it to a central location or singular chart.

That's it, the only thing that made me an issue or challenge is creating a tool or whatever using the API to send multiple time frames to one chart.

This isn't some project to work on for years, it's all here. In fact I don't actually NEED coding but it's greatly hampering my ability to make exponential gains because I cannot manually take in all the needed information sometimes, plus manage my position.

Did you try one of those many non coding backtesting softwares ? There are many around look at quantpedia resources for instance. Second you will pay at least a few granny on freelancer or upwork for a coder. But you can get one for cheap like 90% cheaper here, on MQL5 market. But you need to stick with MT5 platform. You can get full futures data with AMP at MT5 and also all stocks with some Metatrader brokers, if you need that kind of underlying data and markets to be tested. If I were you I would hire someone for cheap at MQL5 market, where there are also a lot of good coders, you just need to filter a little bit and ask some questions or having a conversation to find out the right coder. Second, I would have a look on those many non coding softwares like StrategyXQuant or Trade Ideas for example and many other interesting ones. And there you have full control on your testing. Maybe worth a shot to be sure what you really want then to be coded later at some later stage. My two cents here.

    SimpleMeLike and MACD like this.

  5. It has to be on Ninjatrader and/or Tradestation or else I'd have to transfer over too many indicators(TS is not compatible with a lot of other API's). appreciate the suggestion though.

  6. Yeah, I know nobody else understands this or cares, but believe me if I could do it myself via chatgpt I would. Would prefer no one else but myself to have access to this, but was not able to find a solution myself.

  7. Most of them have to do with custom indicators on particularly platforms I mentioned. Don't understand me listing all the filters is going to do? It's fine man appreciate your help, but I don't understand your question. I'll eventually find someone that I'll click with.

But you can — it’s trivial to omit key data that makes it worthless to outsiders if you’re concerned about sending gold to chat gpt. Just break down the process into chunks and more valuably, you’ll never have to keep returning to the same coder who might well be busy when you need them, to make the inevitable changes down the line.
Been a godsend for me anyway

  9. That makes sense understand all your points. But the "trivial to omit key data" don't you mean it's critical to omit key data?

he meant it takes a trivial amount of effort to omit the data "not much work on your part to omit"
