I disagree with this post. If you already know a lot about the different areas or worked in the industry, yes you don't need much time. But a lot of the traders here, even successful ones might learn price action or fundamentals or something, but may not have a solid or even average grasp of these topics.
Did you ever take an exam in HS or University? Memorize the questions and answers on the practice tests and you will pass. I will tutor you for the right price in NYC.
STC is the best. I got the videos and watched them over and over and over... Until I knew it like the back of my hand. Then, I went to the course. Scored in the 90 percentile. They are excellent!
Just study a lot for the test and you will do fine. It depends on how much experience you have with the financial field and if you have traded stocks before. I used Series7Tutor.com and scored well on the exam. If you take practice exams and study everyday for a few hours, that will help. Good luck re-taking the exam!
I would recommend you iPhode touch and Series 7 Preparation App tutorials for consideration. These online training solutions are easy-to-use, affordable and cost less than others.
Series 7 wasn't so bad. I did it in 3 days. I read it once and took 2 practice tests(scored 60 and 65), but got 77 on the actual test. i feel that the actual test was easier than the practice tests. A close friend of mine had to take it 3 times, but eventually made it thru. remember, it's pass or fail, so with a little luck, you'll make it thru.
I'm struggling with the exam. Failed it actually. Really not sure how I messed it up. I was so sure I was ready but the results proved different. Do you know where I can find a series 7 tutor?_I am in the New York area.
