Need quick software recommendation

  1. I'm looking for inexpensive or free charting software (delayed or real-time) where you can expand and contract the chart up and down by dragging your mouse, I know this is very typical of most decent platforms but the good ones like TradeStation and ESignal charge too much money. I'm not going to be trading much so I can't really offset the cost with a brokerage account. I need something where you can save trendlines too. Any recommendations?

  2. Anything besides quotetracker?

  3. AmiBroker, Sierra Chart

  4. If you just need charting, Amibroker is very good. If you need more than that, I would recommend Quotetracker.

Softinvestor uses quotes from Yahoo! Finance and costs $59 every six months.
