I can only guess you're one of the 12 people on the planet whose primary language is C# and I've somehow insulted you. I'm not quite sure what part of my post you interpret as fiction. C# is 4-5 years younger than Java and all if it's major changes over C++ are straight from the Java spec (garbage collection, type safety, the handful of primitive types, no multiple inheritance except through interfaces.) It's clearly derivative work. The idea that MSFT has done nothing but release one passable OS in the last 20 years is a bit in jest, but you could point out examples where MSFT technologically led the pack if you can think of any. PS. I've worked for two companies that were/are huge thorns in MSFT's side, but Apple isn't one of them and I don't own any of their products.
