What does that mean?

 

It was a serious conversation that is now over. How much advice do you really need on this subject? Be honest provide an explaination and get on with your life.

 

For those who care.

I spoke to the HR manager and explained my situation. After speaking with her, she thanked me for being open and honest.

I was offered the job and I accepted.

I was wondering what you said exactly to the human resources representative to sell yourself.

I mean, one dui that was 5 years ago can be explained away and might be acceptable. However, you said that you had a 10 year drinking history and a few duis, not just one.

I would be interested in hearing how you went about selling this...
