Just wondering if anyone here has any input on a good portable 911 device. Here is an example: http://www.physorg.com/news64764626.html Looking to get these things for my parents. Ideally it would be small and portable and be able to call 911 in an emergency.

i got my mother one of these. it works great. and there are no monthly fees. you record a message such as "help this is xxxx at xxx. please help me". then you put in up to 4 phone numbers the last being 911 and the first being family members. then when she presses the emergency button the machine starts calling numbers. if no one answers it will roll over to the next number on the list. it will eventually roll over to 911 as a last resort. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Medical-Lif...125?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1e5730d5c5
