Here is what I need... I need a platform or service that will give me capability to read data from the market (highs and lows of stocks during the trading day)...and throw it into Excel...that's all. What is my best/cheapest way to get that done??? Also...any charting software that will allow me to input lines into charts (straight lines on specific prices)---different colors, multiple symbols? Thanks!!!
Have you ever used Interactive Brokers? You can get data feed from them that will go into Excel. If you have an account with them, the data is free. Have you ever tried Amibroker charts? Amibroker I believe they will do what you want to do with lines. You can download a trial version and find out. Also, they have a plugin for Interactive Brokers for real time data. Amibroker has a flexible programing language. I used to use Excel but switched when I got used to using what Amibroker offers. James
