seriously? I run parts through the dishwasher 2-3 times a month. I usually save up and when I have a full load I'll run it rather than putting it through with the regular dishes. I think I've fixed the issue - running the dishwasher again with the clean parts to see if the problem repeats itself...
Well I went a little off the deep end posting this, turns out all is well at my house. If you ever run car parts, motorcycle parts or whatever else through your dishwasher, know that Cascade is the best and that if you make a mess, simple green mixed with Mr. Clean works great. Run that through once, then run a bleach (google it) mixture through and you will be fine.
