Mr. Mises did contributed a lot to the field of economics. However, show some intellectual respect. Milton Friedman is a true champion of economics, freedom and capitalism. Mises guys are radical, intolerant, anarchist, antisocial, extremist and above all................unrealistic.
No time to get into details now... but jueco, I'm surprised at you. Are you suffering from Stockholm Syndrome?
Do you want to be entertained or educate yourself relative to economics? I'm suggesting Wikipedia. Just jump right in, follow links that build an understanding that conforms with the direction your mind flows from and no opinions just facts. It may seem undisciplined but you won't be putting up with anyones dismal spin but your own.
Thanks for your replies all, but... I'm still waiting for someone here to tell me they are a real economist....
this is the one i recommend. http://www.amazon.com/Advanced-Macroeconomics-David-Romer/dp/0072877308/ref=pd_sim_b_1

Why do you say that "Mises guys are radical, intolerant, anarchist, antisocial, extremist and above all................unrealistic", and isn`t intolerant and anarchist a dichotomy, i.e. anarchist don`t want to coerce people into anything?
