Need a NSDQBX -> BYX -> EDGA routing strategy.

Discussion in 'Order Execution' started by Marc to Market, May 16, 2011.

  1. Does anyone know which of the inverse ECNs -- NSDQBX, BYX, and EDGA -- offers the fastest routing strategy which sweeps all three inverse ECNs with a single order? I'm getting crushed by black boxes who kill their orders a millisecond before mine hit so speed is crucial here. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

  3. How do you hit BX via BYX?

    TRIM Routing Strategy

  5. But do you still get the $0.0014 rebate? According to BATS, you don't get the rebate passed through:

"TRIM orders executed at low-priced venues: no charge"

Nope, sorry. However the upside of using BATS routing is that they do it in parallel, so you should not be concerned regarding liq disappearing.
Check out ROBB on EDGA, that probably what you want, however I would trust BATS technology more.

  7. Yeah, I actually had my software vendor add ROBB today but it's not working. I'll update this thread with the results once I test it. Thanks dude.

    Release day is May 23rd.

  9. Oh wait, so you're saying the ROBB strategy doesn't hit the three inverse exchanges in parallel like the BATS' TRIM strategy? So ROBB hits one, then the next, then the last? And then the black boxes will have plenty of time to kill their orders like they're doing to me now?

I did see the release date of May 23rd, but my software vendor said it's already functional. I'll update this thread once I have more info.
