Anything taken from ANY CHATROOM _IS_ BS as far as a trade that was made or not. It means nothing. No one can tell what is a paper trade or not.

In fact, anything taken from a message board is to be taken with the slightest grain of salt.

Susan, sorry for getting your hopes up - I doubt you will get any takers, as is becoming more and more evident.

  2. Let's do it! :D (Even paper-trading would be good enough to start as the first step! However, Nitro has a good point!)

  3. Foolish me. I thought that members posting their trades in the chat room at ET were posting actual trades. I guess not. Of course you can only speak for yourself regarding the matter. So the natural conclusion is that the trades you post in the chatroom are BS.

And it is played out so well. I mean the number of times I have posted 'way to go' when a member posts a profit, and he replies "Thanks". And come to find out it has all been BS. What is there ...some sort of conspiracy in the chatroom that everyone posts BS?

It's a dark day in Mudville my friends.... a very dark day.

But as far as damir goes, if he posts it in the chatroom real time, and trades it real time, that's good enough for me. And I suspect most other people as well. You can't BS real time. It doesn't matter if the trade was actually taken or not.

You are correct. The trades in _ANY_ chatroom are _BS_ unless backed up by AUDITED STATEMENTS.

If you felt that I made a nice trade when posted to the chatroom and wanted to thank me for it, I will gladly accept your kindness in turn. HOWEVER, if you ever wanted to hand me your good earned money to trade on your behalf, I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU ASK FOR AUDITED STATEMENTS.

You don't believe it? C'mon... :D don't be so skeptical!
    Here's a quote from Damir's journal:

    NoiseBox Summary, August 2003
    All Trades : 57
    Winning Trades : 55
    Losing Trades : 2
    Total %Gain/Loss : 9.4%
    Avg %Gain/Loss : 0.16%
    Avg Win% : 0.2%
    Avg Loss% : -0.2%

For a profit factor of *only*... 27.5
    What a joke.

Well I think damir00 can speak for himself, anyway I can witness his trades for August were all posted in realtime on #indexfutures and on his thread in ET
Obviously I don't know if they were real or paper trades.
    It's a joke?
well tell me more of these jokes, I'm all ears. :)
