Right. "The Final Solution". Trying to remember where I heard that before. At any rate, sure seems to be working for them!
Let's take a closer look at Vermont with the KFF data. This truly is a pandemic of the unvaccinated. Vermont Share of Overall Cases Among Not Fully Vaccinated = 98.4% Share of Overall Cases Among Fully Vaccinated = 1.6% Percent of Fully Vaccinated Individuals That Have Experienced a COVID-19 Breakthrough Event = 0.07%* % of Fully Vaccinated People Hospitalized with COVID-19 = 0.00%** * Note a mere 276 fully vaccinated people diagnosed with Covid-19 ** Note a mere 13 fully vaccinated people hospitalized with Covid-19 ================================================== In other news - Dr. Fauci Just Said This Is Why COVID Cases Are Rising Again https://bestlifeonline.com/fauci-covid-cases-rising-again-news/ Hint: It's the unvaccinated. "Fauci said there's a clear reason why cases are rising again: unvaccinated individuals. "That's something that's entirely predictable when you have these many people—about 60 million people—who are eligible to be vaccinated who have not gotten vaccinated," he explained."
Fascinating. But Fauci said with 50% vaccinated we could prevent future surges. That seems to have been in error. sCIEnCE
That was before Delta showed up.... and his full comments at the time indicated that 50% immunity is where the infection rate starts slowing and at this time with the original Covid there was a need to hit a 70% vaccination rate to reach herd immunity. Now that we have Delta Covid which is much more infectious with a higher R value -- there is a need to reach a 90% vaccination rate to hit herd immunity. This is how the science works.
As variants of a disease evolves, the science and associated values will evolve. This is how virology works.
