Yet you fail to note that the intent of the "zero Covid" policies in New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, and other locations was never to permanently have a "zero Covid" policy. The intent was to have the policy in place only until a sufficient portion of their populations were vaccinated to reach herd immunity. Thanks to Delta that level has increased from 70% of a population vaccinated to 90% of a population vaccinated. Which means that these countries have further to go to reach a herd immunity threshold.
