Obviously posted by someone who has not read a word of what I have posted in recent months about China's zero Covid policy not being effective in the era of highly infectious Omicron.
You're pro-lockdown. Pro-restricting the unvaccinated. You're pro-mask. You pro-censoring any thoughts outside of the Religion™ narrative. Hell, you could probably get a seat on the CCP Politboro!
So you say that a Zero COVID policy won't work on an infections Omicron variant, but then you say masking and social distancing will? I'm just trying to understand the sCIenCe, buddy. I know I'm a Neanderthal so speak in simple words.
Obviously -- as shown in many large-scale studies -- masking and social distancing works to stop the spread of Covid. When Covid is highly prevalent in a community then restrictions such as masking & social distancing should be implemented. When the Covid prevalence drops in a community then the restrictions should be removed in a progressive manner. This is how proper public health policy works in a pandemic for highly contagious disease spread by airborne particles.
Ok, but none of that answered my question. You state that zero COVID policy (which is more strict than just masking and social distancing) doesn't work to stop the spread of a highly contagious pathogen, but masking and social distancing is effective. Isn't that what you said above?
