Hi guys, I started playing with NDX options, and wondering.. I sold some puts that were dated nov 22nd ( Wednesday ). my question is why are they still in my portfolio if they should have expired 23rd ( Im guessing one day to settle price? ) ?? was it just holiday and they normally are out of the account on Friday morning? I usually buy the Thursday expire options on NDX, but we had thanksgiving so I thought to just hold till Holiday, and these are out of the account Saturday morning.. I'm pissed as I got a note about exposure fee to options that are expired??
oh yeah most brokers will charge an exercise/assignment fee even tho ur trading fkkn european options. I had one broker who did not charge me that fee ;-)
