And more reject him. He's polarizing. And that's what it is, but he's not getting management on his side, apparently.

I don't believe there will ever be enough independents on his side to elect him.

The country is all ready polarized, but the real reasons are never discussed.... Instead we have our debates outlined by the media and establishment on focal points of their choosing.

I think there's more than enough to elect Trump. But it 's not Trump it's the message he carries.

  4. Trump Teases Critic for Being Paralyzed

Not content with insulting a female reporter’s intelligence and professionalism, Donald Trump apparently mocked a conservative critic for being paralyzed. Trump in an interview with NBC News was asked about columnist Charles Krauthammer, who is paralyzed from the waist down and has called Trump a “rodeo clown.” In response to criticism from Krauthammer and National Review columnist Jonah Goldberg, Trump said the following: “I went out, I made a fortune, a big fortune, a tremendous fortune… bigger than people even understand,” he said before discussing his plan to release financial statements. “Then I get called by a guy that can’t buy a pair of pants, I get called names?”

Even though trumps an asshole, i doubt thats what he meant by it, but in the day and age of twitter and the perpetually offended, you can contort words to mean just about anything.

That doesnt even make sense as Krauthammer can most certainly buy pants, people making that connection are the ones who are reaching.

Yeah but we live in the day and age of twitter lynch mobs, where if a sentence isnt constructed perfectly you can ruin a guy. In the last week there was even fact checkers who went so far as to give trump the worst fact check rating on what he said. Im not sure how anyone could deny that there are rapists and drug dealers coming across the border when its been proven time and time again.

If you take the oppositions argument are they really trying to say there are 0 rapists, and 0 drug dealers, and 0 murderers coming across the border?

  9. As I mentioned in another thread...it wasn't all that long ago that the Dem's were the ones making similar arguments. It's as if we've forgotten how much grief Bush was taking for his lack of an immigration plan. The unions have always had a dog in this fight as all of that cheap immigrant labor certainly does them no favors...yet the very radical elements of the left have even moved beyond the interests of the unions...

If elected Trumps problem will be working effectively with whatever congress he has inherited. The usual congress is only concerned individually with their next election and the posturing required to do so.Individually they not only put party above country they put their reelection above country. There may be some recently elected individuals that don't conform immediately but they usually conform or are isolated, limited or do not receive party support during reelection if not direct opposition from their party. Apparently you can't even run in the primary without being told to toe the party line.
Not to mention the politically correct Supreme Court .
