  2. A hard, unnecessary, playoff foul at a time when the game was already decided.

In context of that, it was thuggish, Rodmanesque...

  3. I predicted GS would upset Dallas after 1 game in the 1st round, and also predicted Phoenix would beat Detroit in the finals.

I do think Phoenix will prevail against SA. But if they don't, I plan to boycott the rest of the playoffs and not watch another game. I don't like my sporting events tampered with.

It's unfortunate that the NBA WORLD championship was greatly affected by a bad interpretation of this "off the bench" rule. Most people watching the game I talked with did not even see these two players leave the bench area. With the game being so close, no doubt PHX would have won GAME 5 if either one of their suspended players had played.

Tough, Tough lost for PHX. Leading most of game and a lot of times by double digits. S.A. got hot from "threeland" late when it matter the most.

Note: Was there an ad on about a new Diehard movie?

  6. Bye-bye Suns.

What's left to watch? Two series of grind-em'-out, boring, half-court snooze festivities, followed by what will likely be a Finals of the same.

    No thanks.

The NBA season is over as far as I'm concerned.

  7. Im not a fan of NBA, or basketball generally.
In the heyday of magic, jordan, pippen, , it used to be fun to watch, unbeleivable in fact. On occasion.

    Now.......why would anyone watch it.

  8. As of last night there is no longer a reason to watch.

I think Spurs-Jazz has the potential to be one of the most boring series in the history of the playoffs.

Cavs-Pistons will only be interesting if Lebron ups the ante and dispatches Detroit with some Jordanesque intensity.

    Otherwise, it's a snooze fest.

  9. I understand everyone's sentiments, and I like to watch the Suns as well. But for true basketball fans, Spurs-Jazz is pretty decent. Probably the two most fundamentally sound teams in the league, with excellent coaching and hard-nosed, team-first players. When you see some of the teams in this league, it makes you appreciate what the coaches and GM's of these two have done.

  10. Well, I don't know if you can blame it on smoking cubans...

Take good care of that padron. One day I plan on letting you and Pabst show me around Miami.
