Flip is not doing a good job coaching and the players are not respecting him for it... they are not playing as a team and thats the only thing they had going for them...peace
Agree. Detroit is done, and so is Flip. They need a new warden. So, who gets the home court, Miami or Dallas?
I thought he had a pretty effective game plan last night. They hung with the Heat on their home court for the whole game, but in general, they have looked kind of flat in the playoffs. Kind of funny when you think back to all the bashing Riley took in the beginning of the season. Now the deals for Payton, Walker and Williams look brilliant.
The Pistons have been down 3-1 before and came back. If the Heat's supporting cast don't play well and Detroit plays with urgency, they may very well win both of the next games. I wouldn't be surprised if it goes to a game 7. Having said that, I do hope the Heat close them out. Tonight's Dallas-Phoenix game should be a good one. Good grief but this year's playoffs have renewed my love affair with the NBA.
it has been the best NBA playoff's i can remember...many games won with 3 points or less many have gone to game seven..and the matchups so far have been quite exciting...the pistons have been down 3-1 to us with dwayne wade hurt...any other way i would bet the house on a heat victory we only need win 1 out of the 3 games left...id say thats money in the bank..peace
I hope you're right, Cubano! As far as the West, I can't help but think how good Phoenix would be if Amare Stoudamire and Kurt Thomas were healthy. This 7-man rotation is killing them, and with Bell out with his calf injury, it's even worse. If Stoudamire and Thomas were healthy, I would expect Phoenix to be in the Finals.
IF.. is the most often used word in sports and in trading..."IF" a time out would have been called in game six of the cav/pistons game with 1.2 seconds left perhaps we would be playing them instead... just stayed tuned for tonights game..this city will be lit up like a roman cnadle once we win..and if we win the finals its going to get nasty crazy down here...drunk punnani will line up ocean drive
As the Suns showed last night, they are very capable of beating the Mavericks. These games are so tight that any off-night by a team's star (in last night's case, Dirk Nowitzki) will tip the balance to the opposition. Oh, I'll be watching, amigo! I expect Detroit to win this one, pero ojala que no! Buena suerte!
What an ugly game. Cubano, this is why Miami may lose this series: The Pistons' "best" shooters - Hamilton, Billups, and R. Wallace - go 13 of 45 (the game still isn't over) and they still win. Why? Because of defense and Tayshaun Prince. The Heat's two best players - Shaq and Wade - shoot better than 50% and they lose. Why? Because their role players pick and choose when they're going to show up. I swear to god, every time Haslem shoots the ball I just cringe. And most of his shots are close in. Jason Williams has been a non-factor, and Antoine Walker is just too inconsistent. IMO if your Heat don't win game 6 in Miami, Detroit is going to the Finals. p.s. Why did Haslem and Walker take almost as many shots as Shaq?!?
