  1. So Shaq has his worst playoff performance ever, one of the worst performances for a "Superstar" in history in an important game 2 of a Finals.

    So what does he do?

Stand up like and man and face the press?

    Nope.

    Not the Big Houdini...

DALLAS (AP) -- Miami Heat center Shaquille O'Neal was fined $10,000, and the team an additional $25,000, after he did not make himself available for interviews after Sunday night Game 2 of the NBA finals.

O'Neal had a career playoff-low five points on 2-for-5 shooting in the 99-85 loss to the Dallas Mavericks. The Heat are down 0-2 hole heading to Tuesday's Game 3 in South Florida.

The NBA announced the fines about an hour after the game ended.

  8. Damn, Cubano, your boys freaked me out tonight! I was tempted to shut off the TV in the middle of the 3rd after the Mavs were up by 13, and I'm glad I didn't.

Finally, FINALLY, they got it together at the end, helped by a major Mav meltdown. Who would have thought Nowitzki would have missed that second free throw with 3 seconds left in the game?

Wade was just unreal. Jordanesque, yessirree.

I know I said if they go down 2-0 they're toast, but after this game I see a sliver of hope for them.

Also, when Josh Howard scores 20 or more points, the Mavs were 25-0. He had 21 tonight and the Heat still won.

Are the planets realigning in the Heat's favor?

But damn, they sure could help things by limiting their turnovers!

    :)

  9. Whatta nail biter! Well, the heat boys got momentum heading into game 4. I still think the bench is the key - they're still outplayed by their Mavs' counterparts. I wanna see a competitive series for sure.
