i'm not trying to get on the guy or anything, i'm just letting him know, if he's comming from stocks or just new all together, trading the pits, is nothing like dealing w/a market marker or specialist. hype if you are going to trade index futures trade start off with the minis, or the bonds.
I didn't know many stock traders are illiterate, including myself 4 monthes back. But today i'm highly educated because i know what future trading is
Hey Elbo if you read my last post, I was thanking you for the link, and letting you know my question was about pit futures, and not the minis. Which I found from the link. Does it make you feel good to rip on people for their lack of knowledge on a subject? I just came in here, explained my ignorance on the subject, and still get chastised for what I asked? You must be some big time millionaire trader who knows everything and gets off on ripping people for their lack of knowledge on a subject. By the way thanks again for the link, it has been really helpful!
Blbo, I have limited knowledge on the subject, but I have the opportunity to trade for and with a pretty big "local" who is willing to take the time to "show me the ropes". Your right, I would be better off playing blackjack, but Im just considering if I should take advantage of this oppourtunity. Thanks for your reply.
