First off thanks to all of those who responded to my previous posts, its greatly appreciated. Dumb qusetion, thinking about moving from daytrading naz stocks, to trading naz futures. How much is 1 contract worth? example: if it goes from 1095-1100, 1099-1100 etc. Thanks again to all, just trying to learn the basics.!

An NQ contract trades in 1/2 points and a full point is worth $20.
If you buy one contract and it goes from 1400 to 1402 you have made $40. Check out The CME website for a wealth of information.

    NQ moves in .5 ticks(1099.00, 1099.50, 1100.00, 1100.50) each tick is work 10 bux. it has a value of $20.00 x naz 100 index,
margin is usually around 2000.00, depending on broker.

    DUDE:

    Read the CME website please!
It explains everything you need to know about BIG contracts and E minis. You will sound a lot more intelligent. Or keep asking retarded questions. Do you want us to chew your food as well?
NQ trades electronically NOT in the pit. ($20/ Point)
ND trades in the pit. ($100/Point)

READ THE CME LINK I GAVE YOU.

if you click on the link, it has all of the index futures, pit and electronic on the left side, right above the emin naz 100 is the pit traded naz. more importantly are you sure you want to trade the pits, when you know nothing about it? if so you might as well go to a casino and bet on blackjack, you'll have a better chance.
