I don't think he should have. I thought it was bad judgement on his part. People make bad judgements all the time. I'm sure you know this as a trader.

  2. But I must ask if he did jump him, do you think Jesse would have just let that go?

It's not news. It's just bruising Ventura's ego which is massive. And it sets off the Alex Jones/Ron Paul crowd into fury. Goddam I hate being associated with these nut jobs. I feel so dirty for supporting this guy.

Yes, obnoxious loud mouth ass holes like Ventura generally tend to get surprisingly quiet when they get whats coming to them, throw in Ventura's ego and the fact that he fancies himself as some sort of tough guy, and it is basically a guarantee that he would be silent about it if it happened as he did not want anyone knowing he got beat up.

  8. I understand where you are coming from. When assessing the validity of a he said she said, generally, all you have to go off of is the source(s). In this case we have the sources and potential witnesses (to include the owner of the establishment). Granted, the owner is Jesse's friend so that potentially taints him.

I am having trouble believing Jesse would take that stand against the troops. Do we have any clips/audio tracks where he suggests what Kyle says he suggested?

I use to be a huge Jean Claude Van Dam fan. I thought he was an awesome fighter. Bought into the whole muscles from Brussels story. Then I heard the story of how he was in a bar and hitting on some girl and some guy came up to him and just kicked his ass and Van Dam did nothing, just walked out of the bar without saying a word. The whole thing was caught on tape and put on youtube. Just sayin...most of these guys are not as tough as they look. And when you hit a bully, most of them just walk away quietly.

He may have had other reasons for letting it go, like a budding film career, or the extra liability known martial artists receive for getting in informal fights. Maybe he knew he was wrong to hit on the other guy's girl in the first place. My point is you weren't wrong, Van Damme was a good fighter. His movies, yeah, heavy and unrealistic choreography, but he's not the first and he won't be the last to be guilty of that. And, everyone loves that clean, strong, controlled, high sidekick he can (could) throw.
