try again ricter.... you got the greenhouse analogy all wrong. 1. our oceans are warming. which could be due to vents and volcanoes... not co2. 2. co2 also acts to block some of the suns warming rays too. 3. once co2 start acting as a blanket... adding more of it does logarithmically less and less warming... while adding more of it could act like more of a shield 4. GHCs of which water vapor is the most powerful... work as thermostats moderating highs and lows... not like glass in a greenhouse. 5. heat and gas escapes into space.... it is not a closed systems. the list goes on.
You are missing the point. It's just not possible for big oil corporations to make money without hurting somebody. If we can hurt them that means less hurt for us. Hey man, it aint rocket science, it's just socialism.
So to be clear, jem thinks that man has not caused the sudden jump in CO2 levels over the last two hundred years and that CO2 is not a greenhouse gas. Even though physics says it is for the last two hundred years. And of course there is tons of science, theoretical and empirical, showing man made global warming. For some reason jem cannot see it. I think it is called ideological derangement syndrome. Causes selective blindness.
ok, you win, I'm a believer. What should I do? It's a little cold where I live this time of year and I am going to burn fossil fuel until spring, then I will back off, and when summer comes I can open the doors and windows and stay pretty comfortable And maybe on a really hot day close up and turn on the A/C. So I am doing the right thing. Right?
there is no peer reviewed science saying man made co2 is causing warming. you lied your ass off again. If there were the scientist that showed man made co2 is causing warming would be a nobel prize winner.

Yes there is. Tons of it. And not only one scientist is showing it, thousands are. That's why there is no debate about the basic truth of it anymore. You may be stuck in the seventies, but really, the science has moved on. But I don't expect a religious delusional like yourself to understand science.
