Natural trader ..

Yes, your a very natural trader if your equity curve is going north from the getgo.Plus, better have a winning streak as well.If you blow it from the start once, you blow it twice, you blow it 1000 of times, then your probably not so natural.

 

it is not smart to buy something that goes up 5% every day-it is not emotionally easy,nor is it rational but for a trader it is the right thing to do

 

i d rather be in a bull market than lucky or good: in 2006 my account went up 16 times in a year only to ,lose it all,

i was a genius i chose stocks that went up.. .because even shit was flying

 

it is also very irritating....because it just does not matter why it is going up.....

 

I started trading when I was 6 years old. I'd buy candy bars 2/5 cents at the grocery store, and sell them at school for 3 cents each. By the time I was 10, I was trading pocket knives, marbles, frogs, and all sorts of trinkets and animals with friends. I graduated to baseball cards, radios, bicycles, and then cars. I discovered stocks in 1969, when I was 25. Been doing it ever since. Yeah, I think it's hereditary.

Human beings are not born to be a trader.
Because we have this fight or flight mentality.
We either fight to get our food,
or run away for our lives from dangerous animal.
With such negative emotions (anger, fear), we can't never ever trade.

But some of us are born to have excellent ability to neutralise negative emotion.
Such people finds trading very simple and easy.

 

Some people have the ability to feel their feelings. This may appear to the outsider as counteracting an emotion. I can find lots of examples, in ET and in the physical world, of people trying to deny, control or otherwise manipulate emotions. I have a sense that it is better to just experience them. People who talk about controlling emotions seem to be afraid of something, as if it were taboo or otherwise.

 

Not my experience.

I've dated tons of women who were exactly like you say above, many of them loved to "experience their emotions". Believe me ... usually not helpful. Another word for people who "experience their emotions" all the time is ... children. Denying, controlling, or otherwise manipulating one's own emotions is a necessary part of every adult day.
