  1. Not as many colors in the otc mrkts as there are in the E$ pits. We typically only say red, everything else is quoted by year.

  2. Amerex just comes over with the outright names, then again, I can count the number of term deals I've done on one hand.

Question about henry options on Ice : The product i'm viewing in webice is "NG Fin, FP for Pen (Equity)" , but I never see anything quoted live, only occasional block deals. Is this the case or am I looking at the wrong product?

I know chatham does alot of stuff but I never see it come across the screen.

  3. Good question. Wish I knew. I never ICE clear options. I don't think anyone wants to make live markets these days, especially on the screen.

  4. Why go bilateral if you have the choice to clear? I assume there is some rational reason, but but it escapes my mind at this point.

Also, PJM next week power 11/17-11-21, has been creeping up these last few days. Was at 65 last week, now around 70, even with gas dropping off.

  5. HAHA, this is exactly why I am a scalper and only carry spreads as positions. Natty has always been a very hard market for outright position trading. The techs looked ever so strong on yesterdays action, yet we have puked up all of yesterdays gains.

Cash has converged with the screen as well, go figure!

The nooner GFS was very cold looking again, my bias is still up unless the equity market really pukes out further this afternoon.

  6. ya you got that right papa, but the underlying fact is that h/j is a fucking sweet spread to trade. And like you said pick up pennies all day long! thanks for the heads up on the spread man

  8. How are you trading the H/J ? I'm assuming you are you referring to futures -- I see it offered below 0.05 (.046@.048)
Are you legging it better? just curious.

    Good trading guys.

  10. hey Rtrader225, I must be missing something -- I have H/J spread on my IB screen and hasn't seen it move much - right now .046 @ .048 - I joined the bid for 1 for about a minute but didn't get hit.

    It's been around .05 last 2 days.

I don't see how you make $$ unless you hold the spread until it moves in your favor. Like I said, may be I'm missing something here.

    Good trading.
