I can think of a couple very strong, foundational arguments the Left can come up with that Trump’s declaration of an National Emergency was not justified. Those in favor of the wall might not want to celebrate too hard at this point.
Well, if what you typed were actually true, it would be clear. However, the first statement is horseshit, and the second is taken way out of context to drive a narrative (like ignoring gang related crime in which no gun law would address, for instance).
The orangetard actually said, 'I didn't need to do this'. How do you declare an emergency on something you didn't need to do. I am in the middle on many issues (far left on health care), I really don't care that much if they build a wall but it's not a national emergency. The right will regret this more than the left regrets Harry Reid's dumbassery at some point. It seems like both sides are breaking down the things that are meant to keep us from going too far to one extreme or the other, and I don't think that bodes well for our future.
Yeah ok. Immigrants are no more likely to commit crimes than citizens. Guns kill over 20,000 per year, 1200 of them children. So which is the emergency ?
It is a question of whether it is a national emergency, not whether it is still an important issue that needs to eb addressed.
