I have lived in over 7 countries on 3 continents, each for at least 3 years, the longest in one outside my home country for 12. Lol. Is this a pissing match? What's going on? Is this the European version of vaxers vs anti vaxers? Anyone who has a differentiated view and does not join into the migrant hating mantra is your declared enemy? Germany will greatly benefit from the current immigrants. I would be careful as policy maker to open the floodgates again but the current number is manageable and will be integrated. Hate it or love it, it will all work out in the end. That's what I stated in my first post here and deeply believe. You think differently, and that's fine.
Why don't you give up the goods and tell us which previous forum nick you are? Because you are not "new" here.
You appear to be a mighty annoying chap. How about you stick to topics rather than others' private affairs? Why are you constantly asking personal stuff of people? I have seen you do this in every single thread I participated so far. To calm you, this is my first appearance in those threads ever. If you want more personal conversations give me your phone number and I happily call you up.
You seem to be entirely focused on Iranians, a very small group considering all the Muslims in Europe from Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Lebanon, Palestine, Somalia and so forth. I also know of a Saudi guy in Asia and he's cool, he is nothing like the migrants in Europe, he's far from a typical representation of a migrant. Poles were doing essential jobs and were massively beneficial to the economy, it's easy to see why, just look at UK now. They complain because they're Europeans, just as the French complain and as do the Germans. I know of Germans who also complain all the time. To be honest if I was living in Germany, I'd be complaining always as well. Polish people built their country up, even if it is partially with EU funding. EU also sends billions abroad to Middle East and Africa, where the money burned with nothing to show for it, well - a few warlords can buy new Hiluxes. There is no such thing as "more European". Just shows you don't know anything about history, Europe consists of different regions. Blonde hair is very much European, where do you find more blondes? Poland is right to treat western Europe with suspicion and mistrust as long as they are completely submissive towards Russia. In the end, you're okay with Western Europe doing something in its interest but if Poland does the same, they become "ugly and stupid Poles". That's how it works?
Just look at the age of the terrorists that committed the Paris bombing, the stabbing attacks in Germany and those who gang-raped German girls on New Year's Eve and those who harassed people on the street to obey sharia laws. Who are these people then? Yes wearing a veil is unacceptable. We are not living in middle ages; we are living in modern age and in fact wearing a veil is unacceptable in any age. From a social point of view, it is repressive and demeaning to women and is the very testament of sexual inequality when it's unilaterally forced upon women and not men. I mean if wearing a veil is acceptable, why aren't the men of the Islam religion not wearing veils also? Second of all from a religious point of view it is unacceptable because it is a religious expression and shouldn't be forced upon anybody who do not practice the same religion as you to accept it. This is a gross violation of religious freedom of the people who do not practice Islam and it is directly against the constitution, the very fundamental body of law that defines who we are as a nation. And lastly from a political point view, the wearing of veils shouldn't be used as a means to circumvent policies and laws of countries governed by secular policies and laws. You can wear them in your private home if you want but you need to be prepared to remove them when required to do so, such as testifying in court or getting your photos taken for governmental I purposes. Which again begs the question WHY do they want to come here when they are not prepared to adopt and at least follow the laws of our country and still want to stubbornly hold onto their own way of doing things? On one hand, they argue they are coming to Europe or North America to "escape from the totalitarian fundamentalist regimes" back in their native country and yet when they are in the new country, they choose to hold steadfastly to those practices dictated by those totalitarian fundamentalist regimes like being forced to wear veils. If I were really somebody who hated the fact that I don't have the choice of not wearing the veils when living in those totalitarian fundamentalist regimes and wanted to escape, I would be so happy to be able to have the choice of not wearing veils in my new country and I wouldn't hesitate at all in adopting the ways in the new country. WHY would I instead want to insist wearing veils is OK and even want to force everybody in my new country to wear veils and even think the people in my new country who gives me the freedom of not wearing veils as "being nervous when you see eyes but not a nose and lips?" This just really calls into question the motive and real purpose of those who proclaim that they are "escaping from hardship in their own country and want a new life" in the new country of Europe and North America. Do they REALLY want a new life in the new country? LOL Looks like they are quite happy holding onto their old life, so why not stay in their own native country and continue to practice their old way? They can wear all the veils they want back in their native country. Again, the age old question: WHY migrate?
Absolutely agree. I guess it is a bad time to bring up Osama Bin Laden's ethnicity? Polish people are very skilled carpenters and are great tradesmen, not to mention they are excellent mathematicians. Europe is made up of people of diverse ethnicity and cultural background just like any continent on earth. Just shows how narrow-minded @breadcrum is in the way that he/she readily treats people with stereotypes and prejudices.
Actually NG price is going through the roof right now and not only that, electricity price in France is going through the roof too. https://www.rt.com/business/535307-france-electricity-prices-spike/ I hope this is not going to set off a chain reaction that's going to start a global recession like the one in 2008.
That is interesting. Europe is having a warm winter I guess?? This is why cutting off natural gas was not enough and Belarus had to attack with the migrants? And Poland had to negotiate to resolve the "crisis"? What happens to you do not negotiate with the terrorists? You just take some guns and arm them with rubber bullets and shoot at whoever decides to linger. And they will all scramble. You were armed with rubber bullets; you didn't have the intention to kill but you show to everybody that you do have the right to defend your border. There, no more crisis.
