He believes that because he was present for a melt up or melt down that it means that the markets are not random. What it actually means is that he was there for the price movement. It has nothing to do with cause.
Actually what it means is that a bunch of stocks made a random move (as per Nassim Taleb) for no reason today and we cashed in on it big, and i was lucky to be at my comp, but thx for continuing to prove you have absolutely no fucking clue about trading.
No, to be fair, I don't think that's what he means. Yes, this part I agree with. But it has nothing to do with anything Taleb wrote, to whom Max curiously gives thanks. As usual, Max misses the point.
